The International Platform on Sport and Development and the European think tank Sport and Citizenship announce media partnership to spread the word about sport for social cohesion and development.
sportanddev and sport and citizenship come closer to communicate about their work
Communicating about the social values of sports
sportanddev readers will now be informed about the quarterly Sport and Citizenship journal, after the European think tank and the International Platform on Sport and Development agreed on a media partnership.
For example, the December 2010 issue of the Sport and Citizenship Journal was dedicated entirely to Sport and International Development. This agreement means that sportanddev readers will access this information too.
“The aim of this alliance is to ensure that material published by the France-based think tank is shared to a wider international audience interested in the field of sport for development”, noted sportanddev.org project manager Chris Middleton.
Sport and Citizenship communications manager Inès Boutar believes this media partnership “will enable both initiatives to share their communication channels in order to better inform the public about their activities.”
From now on, Platform users will be informed about the latest conferences and roundtables organized by Sport and Citizenship.
